Canadian Angus Association Convention 2020

March 25, 2020

2020 will be a year like no other as everyone across the globe deals with challenges related to the COVID-19 global pandemic. The beef industry and Angus community have shown great resolve through these times, and I thank everyone involved in making 2020 bull sales and business continue through these difficult times.

Due to the unknown circumstances that we face ahead over the next few months and all the planning that goes into having a successful convention, the Canadian Angus Association has made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone our National Convention 2020 in Moncton, New Brunswick until 2022.

Our National Convention 2021 will proceed in Saskatchewan as originally planned at this time. An announcement about the specific location will be made at a later date.

We still look forward to engaging with our members and industry colleagues and are exploring options to host our AGM under a different platform in 2020. As details get confirmed, they will be shared. Please check back to our National Convention webpage (https://cdnangus.ca/activities-and-services/national-convention) and watch our social media channels and Angus Advisor newsletter for more information.

Stay safe,
