As a member of the Canadian Angus Association, you may take advantage of a number of tools to help promote your business and sell your cattle. Click on the links below to learn more about these programs.

CAA Member Directory and Bull Buyer’s Guide

Member Directory:

  • Includes contact information for every member of the Association. An index in the back of the directory will allow for easy navigation
  • Opportunity to showcase your entire program; tell us who you are and what you’re about
  • Promote any events that you are involved in during the fall or early part of the new year
  • Industry, national and regional association news
  • Mailed no later than September 15
  • 15,000 mailing distribution to Angus members and commercial members

Bull Buyer’s Guide:

  • Features the most comprehensive list of Angus bull sales in the nation, so please share your sale information with the CAA (1-888-571-3580 or email) as soon as you know it!
  • Mailed no later than February 1 each year
  • Opportunity to advertise your bull production, including all sales taking place from the middle of February onward
  • Information we mail out to Canada’s commercial Angus breeders.
  • Industry, national and regional association news
  • 15,000 mailing distribution to Angus members and commercial members

Canadian Angus Indicator Program

  • Angus indicators certify minimum 50% Angus genetics
  • Angus indicators include free age verification
  • Angus indicators are fully compliant CCIA tags
  • Angus tagged cattle are eligible for more than 170 Canadian Angus Green Indicator Feeder Sales across Canada—more sales than any other beef breed
  • Angus tagged cattle are eligible for Canadian Angus branded beef programs

Events Calendar 

Pedigree Extracts for Sale Catalogues 

  • We can provide three-generation pedigree and all available performance data as a text document or Word document
  • The cost is $2/animal if the registration number is sent electronically in an Excel file and $5/animal if the registration number is sent by email or fax or if only the tattoo is provided
  • Your sale catalogue will be posted online and added to our events calendar
  • To add your sale animals to the Sale Catalogue listing, contact the Association at 1-888-571-3580 or by email.

Sales Package

We are offering members a set of promotional tools to use leading up their sale. For $45*, the package includes:

  • Upload of sale catalogue to CAA website and promotion on at least one CAA social media channel
  • Sale included on the CAA events calendar
  • Maximum three pictures of herd bulls uploaded to CAA Animal Inquiry webpage
  • Choice of three excerpts for sale catalogue
  • Access to CAA program logos

*This package is free to members who give away tags at their bull sales or provide the CAA with their sale results within 24 hours of the sale ending.
